Award Criteria

All projects are assessed against the following criteria:

Overall Quality:

The overall quality and merit of the project. Is it original and distinctive, and does it display quality, coherence and integrity?

Art / Design Significance:

Significance, originality and integrity as a work of art or design.

Social Innovation:

Does the work enable positive social change, and/or make tangible today a possibility for society in the future?

The FutureEverything Award spans art, social innovation and digital culture. Projects which combine two or all of these dimensions (art / society / technology) best reflect the character of the Award. However, a project that is outstanding in just one of these areas is also eligible to win, e.g. an art project that is not also a social innovation, or a social innovation which is not also an art piece.
