Criteria
Projects are assessed against the following criteria:
Excellence: The overall quality and merit of the submission.
Significance: Does it enhance knowledge and practice in art, design, digital media or social innovation?
Relevance: To the FutureEverything Award’s vision and focus, and to FutureEverything’s themes of society, technology, environment and the city.
Originality: Is the project a new piece of work? Is it original and distinctive?
Coherence and Rigour: Artistic or intellectual precision, method and integrity.
Process
The prize is awarded following a rigorous and transparent assessment process.
1. Entries are a combinations of submissions to the open call and nominations by the International Advisory Group to ensure that the very best projects around the world are entered.
2. All submissions are reviewed by an Advisory Panel and a longlist of applicants established.
3. An International Jury of leading practitioners and scholars from relevant fields define a shortlist of three outstanding projects
4. The winner is decided through an open vote by the FutureEverything Community; FutureEverything’s worldwide community of past participants, delegates and public community members.
5. The Award is presented at an Awards Ceremony – a Gala event staged during the FutureEverything festival, also featuring presentations of the winner and runners up, and a world class curated programme of performance and presentations.
