Care and Share Economy, the winning concept from FutureEverything Singapore Innovation Lab, will be showcased at the festival, including workshops, project presentations and panel discussion.
Workshops held at the Town Hall will look at themes explored by Care and Share Economy, including Gifting and Sharing economies, communities and trust, building an alternate economy and the possibilities of disconnecting it from monetary economies, led by Hirsch&Mann. Hirsch&Mann are a design and technology consultancy that explores the future by making physical technology and putting it into the world to gain impact. Their philosophy of ‘thinking by making’ brings magic into reality by rapidly prototyping ideas to gain evidence on its value. Real world testing evolves ideas and their value with people. The outcome is supporting their clients to understand the value of physical technology in achieving their goals and make their future a reality. Previous clients have included Google, Intel and The V&A.

Daniel Hirschmann (@danielhirschman) is an artist, educator and entrepreneur who uses technology at the core of his work. He is the founder of technology and design consultancy Hirsch & Mann (@hirschandmann), and the co-founder of Technology Will Save Us (@techwillsaveus), a business dedicated to getting people making and creating with tech.
Daniel has been developing custom electronic products and experiences for over a decade at various businesses, art institutions and universities. He has shown artwork at institutions including the Whitney Museum of Art, the V&A, and the Centre Pompidou and has participated in events including TED, SXSW and many Design Weeks.
