To complement Andrew Hodson’s interactive audio work The Corridor, blueSCI and Seed Studios are creating an open-environment, sonic playground of digital audio workstations and sample triggering devices. People can visit, explore and experiment with making personalised soundscapes of sounds found on Manchester’s ‘Corridor’. Mix-up crashes and thuds of tram line construction sites, chattering crowds of Oxford Road, and unexpected moments of music and nature, then use the gear and gadgets to alter and re-form their sonic characteristics. You’ll never have experienced a city centre sounding like this before – all made easy with the support of technology, musicians and technicians from Seed Studios.

There are 4 sessions during the afternoon at the following times:
13:00 – 14:00
14:00 – 15:00
15:00 – 16:00
16:00 – 17:00

Each session will be for 6 people to take part and we encourage booking in advance as these limited spaces will fill up quickly.

This project is a partnership between blueSCI, Seed Studios and FutureEverything, it is funded by Arts Council England.
