The Hall is an installation piece by lighting designer and live visual artist Emmanuel Biard (EMN) and engineer David Leonard, commissioned by FutureEverything and RNCM, built specifically for the RNCM Studio Theatre. It premiered at the 2014 FutureEverything Festival. The piece features mirrors, mechanics, lasers, optics and new structures, consisting of 2 gigantic circular flexible mirrors sealed into a frame with vacuum pumps. The Hall is an investigation into the sensation of how scale and distance are perceived and judged by the human brain. It invites the audience to place themselves into the path of the light beams, into the void of this collimated reflection loop, framed by a thin wall of light.

In March 2014 at the RNCM, the installation also featured a live performance by electronic composer and musician Evian Christ and special guests.
