FutureEverything and Now Wave present ”New Sounds of the North” featuring ∆ (Alt-J), Money, No Ceremony (exclusive debut show), Stealing Sheep, Great Waves and Pins live in a new event space in the heart of Spinningfields.
For one evening only FutureEverything & Now Wave will host a live event featuring six of the most exciting bands in the north of England as part of FutureEverything festival on Friday 18 May 2012. ∆ (Alt-J), Money, No Ceremony, Stealing Sheep, Great Waves and Pins are some of the most unique acts to have emerged in the UK in the past year.
Moving from the captivating vocals and splicing rhythms of ∆ Alt-J (fresh from a support slot on Wild Beasts’ latest tour) through to the expansive and vital proclamations of Money, and the ethereal synth textures of No Ceremony, this fresh line up features the cream of inventive songwriting talent from the North of England.
New Sounds of the North is hosted in an event space at Quay House, in the financial district of Spinningfields, Manchester.
