Jose Luis is a curator, writer and researcher working in the space of tech, culture, innovation and the arts.
Since 2013, he has worked on developing the FutureEverything festival programme across all the strands – from conference to art and live events. Along with his work at FutureEverything, he also curates Sónar+D, the Creative Technologies area of Sónar Festival in Barcelona, and runs the Visualizar programme on Data Culture at Medialab Prado, Madrid. He is a founder of ZZZINC, a cultural lab in Barcelona, and has curated multiple exhibitions, such as “Big Bang Data” with Olga Subiros (CCCB, 2014), “Playtime” (Maison d’Ailleurs, 2012) “Invisible Fields” with Honor Harger (Arts Santa Monica, 2011) and “Machines and Souls” (Reina Sofia, 2008). He lives in Barcelona but comes to Manchester all the time.
