Cluster2020 is a €2.1m European Commission project delivered through the European Creative Industries Alliance. The objective is to increase the efficiency, knowledge and growth potential of a wide range of creative businesses by developing a strategy for better creative business support.

The project worked with business clusters in England, Belgium, Germany and France, where it ran trials and tested ways to optimise working spaces, business support services and cross-sectoral linkages.

The project, which kicked off in March 2012, held its first round of consultation sessions in Birmingham and Manchester in June and July, with 25 creative industry business owners attending from games, mobile, digital media, television production, brand and communications, website development and design agencies.

As part of Cluster2020, FutureEverything helped creative organisations gain competitive advantage through data. We worked with four very different organisations: arts venue and listings site Culture24, communications agency SKV, full service brand agency Big Cat and digital education organisation Totem Learning.

Cluster2020 is a pilot project produced in collaboration with Coventry University and Creative England. Find out more on the project here.
