Taking place at The Core, Newcastle Upon Tyne, ‘The Great British Make off’ is a workshop which will allow young people to get creative with the most up to date sensor technology, 3D printers, data and music software. The programme will take place on Monday 26 and Tuesday 27 October, produced by FutureEverything and in partnership with The Core and Juice Festival. Data is a hot topic for business and Governments and we want to empower young people with the tools and skills they need to use data and new technologies for creativity and analysis. Celebrating invention and experimentation, young people will create, collect, analyse and exhibit data. The day will culminate in a chance to make music, jewellery and other fun artefacts showing how data can also be a really exciting artistic material.
