FutureEverything commissions and presents inspiring art and experiences by leading international artists and designers.

We can work with you to commission and present groundbreaking new works – for your city, company or community – connecting you and a wide audience to the very best in contemporary design and art.

Our art commissions support creative excellence, and enable an audience to experience some aspect of a possible future. Our unique approach is to commission artists to illustrate new ideas through creative prototypes, interactive design and participative experiences.

FutureEverything develops deep and long term relationships with artists at different stages of their careers and over a long period. For 20 years, it has championed digital art, and is at the front of the wave, celebrating and enabling positive change in the wider arts community.

Recent commissions include:

  • emoto, a landmark data artwork for the Cultural Olympiad that captured the excitement around the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games. emoto visualised the emotional response to events in real time by analysing over 12.5m tweets, creating a ‘people’s perspective of the Games in the form of an interactive web interface and unique data sculpture.
  • Light Barrier by innovative digital artists Kimchi and Chips, an installation that uses millions of beams of light to create ethereal, floating graphic objects.
  • BUQs, ubiquitous electronic life forms that infiltrate the city and amplify the resonance of the urban environment
  • Winning Formula, an exploration into the future of data and football, featuring a large scale interactive installation and a sports newspaper from the future distributed across the city.
