COVID-19 Update – A note to our collaborators

COVID-19 Update – A note to our collaborators on how we're responding to the current global pandemic

At FutureEverything, our staff, collaborators and community are at the heart of everything we do. And today is no different – we need to put you first.

It pains us to see the already huge impact of the COVID-19 pandemic upon the arts, creative and cultural sectors. We appreciate this is a difficult time for all – rest assured we are taking every measure possible to ensure we can continue to support, champion and collaborate with artists and project partners now and well into the future.

In light of the current situation, we are working tirelessly to pull together contingency plans across all of our programmed activity so that we can continue to move forward together, as an organisation and as a community.

Following the government’s advice regarding COVID-19, we are suspending office-based activities and in-person meetings for the foreseeable. We will continue to operate, with our team working remotely, exploring new and innovative ways to collaborate with you.

We are also taking steps to preserve planned activity, in the hope of postponing live events and workshops to happen later in the year or, where possible, moving activities to virtual spaces. As ever, we will continue to ensure our activities are as inclusive and accessible as possible. So if you have any queries, concerns or suggestions, please do reach out to us. We’d love to hear from you.

We’re much cheered by the outpouring of love, solidarity and support across the sector. What else could we expect from such a vibrant, caring and wonderful community?

Like everyone else, we do not know how long this period of uncertainty will last, but we will keep you posted about our activities across our website and social media channels. We’re looking forward to taking this time to share with you the project’s we’re developing, sharing where our research takes us, and getting feedback from our community of collaborators and audiences.

In the meantime, keep safe, keep in touch and keep going!
The FutureEverything team
