Chris is our Executive Director, working with the team to develop and deliver our artistic work, creative output and engagement. He leads on the development of commissioned work and collaborates on the co-design and delivery of ideas and projects.
Chris joined the team in March 2020 following over 25 years as a creative producer and director working across a broad range of organisations, specialising in producing new theatre commissions, site-specific, installations, festivals, and events. He was a producer at the Royal Exchange Theatre for 9 years and has, recently, worked with MiF and Absolutely Cultured.
For FutureEverything, Chris is excited about developing and producing work that democratises the way that we make and access art and encourages an empathetic approach to how we view the world around us. He believes, fundamentally, in the transformative power of art and, like making a mixtape for your friend, likes to share this passion.
Outside of FutureEverything, Chris is a freelance producer who continues to work with a diverse range of organisations and is a trustee board member for the Manchester charity The Men’s Room. He is a committed cineaste, theatregoer, and regular attender to gigs and sporting events. Chris recently became a qualified FA referee, following years of being a player and a coach.
