Current role: Executive Director
A new EU-wide network for creative collaboration
Claire is our Executive Director and is proud to be part of a new female-led co-Directorship at FutureEverything. Claire works with the team to create opportunities to connect artists with businesses, and audiences with experiences, ensuring those we engage feel empowered to experience the world differently through creative interventions.
Advocating for ethical and inclusive approaches to our work and partnerships, Claire places co-design and participation at the heart of her practice. As well as developing creative ways to measure the positive social impact of our work.
Claire joined FutureEverything in November 2017 as Senior Creative Producer, and led on the design and delivery of Future Sessions, a series of curated conversations and activities responding to the contemporary and critical issues outlined in our curatorial strategy.
Claire brings a background in public art curation and project management, community regeneration and social enterprise to FutureEverything. With twenty years experience initiating and delivering cross-disciplinary practice and policy, Claire actively leads on the development of new and better ways in which to make the creative sector more resilient, sustainable and relevant to today’s society.
Claire is currently undertaking a PhD by Practice demonstrating the social and economic impact of community-driven, co-produced, creative approaches to placemaking and policy. Claire is on the Board of Sensorium Festival and a Trustee of Mid Pennine Arts and acts in an advisory capacity to the Greater Manchester Culture team.
