Rachel’s passion is the communication and interpretation of history and the arts to a range of audiences. With over twenty years’ experience of working in the Arts sector in the UK and Ireland, Rachel has worked across museums, heritage and theatre. She was the 2011/12 Museum Consortium supported Clore Leadership Fellow and specialises in public engagement and leading teams to create and deliver world class interpretation-based experiences. Rachel’s experience ranges from programming, exhibition curatorial, design and interpretation development, project management and collections management to museum strategy, masterplanning and audience development.
Currently working as Head of Exhibitions & Gallery Projects at the Science and Industry Museum, Manchester (part of the Science Museum Group), Rachel leads the creative development and delivery of an innovative exhibitions and gallery development programme and sits as part of the museum leadership team.
