Sarah Miguel has 15 years experience contributing within Non Profit sectors; Cultural, Charity and Housing. She has led on digital, income generation and marketing at the People’s History Museum as Head of Business Development and prior to this, Sarah worked at the BBC as a grantmaker, distributing funds to address the disadvantages faced by children and young people. She also led social investment and equality & diversity programmes in the social housing sector.
Sarah studied Sociology at the University of Manchester, and considers herself to have become an adopted Mancunian. In her spare time she volunteers and serves on the Board at MASH. She has family in the UK and Mexico, enjoys playing board games with friends and loves to explore new places.
A digital enthusiast; Sarah regularly engages in discussions about the use of digital technology to meet societal and creative needs. She is a Tech For Good Live contributor and is delighted to have joined the FutureEverything Board in 2021, describing the organisation as working in the sweet spot of a Venn diagram where art, technology and societal needs meet.
