Domenica Landin (Guayaquil, EC) is a design researcher exploring the role of art and design practices in fostering social-ecological transformations. Her design practice is process-driven and integrates maps, diagrams, sculpture, interaction and participation.
Domenica works within the domain of critical ecologies. Through artworks, writing and co-design projects, she investigates how to represent and communicate other-than-human ways of knowing to promote epistemic justice. As a PhD scholar in the Leverhulme Doctoral Programme for Regenerative Innovation (2024–28) at the University of Dundee, she employs art and design methodologies to develop multispecies epistemologies to inform biodiversity action plans.
She has worked as a research assistant on projects at the intersection of art, ecology and technology and frequently collaborates on interdisciplinary initiatives that bridge diverse disciplines and cultural contexts. Domenica is also an associate lecturer at the University of the Arts London.
