Keerthi Kumar is a Kathak, Indian contemporary dance and Bharatanatyam artiste. He is a Principal dancer and Head of Projects of STEM Dance Kampni and has performed and toured extensively. Keerthi is a faculty for Kathak and has conducted sessions on Rhythm structures and Arts management at Natya Institute of Kathak & Choreography.
He is also a sought-after Lighting Designer and has presented talks on Lighting & Multimedia Design at important art seminars. He is a Nattuvanar and a Padhant artiste. Keerthi also holds a Master’s in Business Administration.
He co-founded ARTMOS through which he creates original choreographic works for educational institutions and works with artistes to create specially curated events, fastidious production design and their mindful execution.
Keerthi has also been designing and executing live events on the virtual space for several artistes and organisations through this lockdown period. He continues to help many performing artistes in setting up their online classrooms and digital auditoria.
His interest in the digital space for creating and streaming performing arts content, along with his research on the subject and execution, has led him to structure and conduct online workshops that enable artistes, arts organisations to work with the digital space in a simple and effective manner. His workshops have been featured by organisations like India Foundation for the Arts (IFA), Nadroop, Pune and National Centre of Performing Arts (NCPA) and have been widely appreciated.
