Trained as an architect, Ling builds physical machines and prototypes, from urban scale to wearable scale, to explore different modes of interaction between people and their surrounding spaces. Her work falls somewhere within the genre of built environment, wearable technology, Internet of Things (IoT) and citizen participation.
Ling has worked with the V&A, Wits Art Museum and Watermans, as well as being featured in magazines like Dezeen, Wired and Fast Company.
Ling is currently part of our Fault Lines programme.
