I practiced as solicitor for around 15 years. During this time, I became involved in pro bono work on environmental and animal issues. Through this work I became alive to the systemic problems that contribute to the environmental crises we face and inhibit full and effective responses to it. One of my concerns is that very little consideration is given to the perspectives of other species in decision making processes that impact on their lives and environments. For this reason, including more than humans in environmental decision making is a focus of my PhD research. I am delighted to be able to put this work into practice with Future Everything.
