In November last year, Nichola McAvoy launched Ally, the first mobile app for people living with Alopecia to find friends. Alopecia is a hair loss condition Nichola has had for 16 years. Wanting an easier way to connect with other people like her, she was inspired to create Ally. Ally’s member base is growing across the world and now Nichola and the team are planning to expand their reach further, making the platform available to people living with other health conditions.
