I am a multidisciplinary artist and researcher who finds her voice at the intersection of movement and visual arts, creative coding. Currently, I work as the Co-founder/Co-director of Aramandi to Attitude and Associate Director of WE-Program. Since 2002, I have been training in different movement art forms like Bharatanatyam, Yoga, Kathak, Kung-fu, Shankar Technique, Butoh. Along with my artistic pursuits, I have completed two MS by research courses in experimental, theoretical, and computational ecology and evolutionary biology. I strive to create a safe spaces for artistic expressions. I am interested in exploring and innovating processes that assess and rethink existing practices and create space for a paradigm shift that addresses, amongst others, issues of accessibility, hierarchy, and equity – building spaces for voicing/embodying narratives, making resource accessible/connecting communities across contexts is at the heart of it.
