Introducing: Atmospheric Memory

Taking place this summer, Atmospheric Memory is a major new co-commission with Manchester International Festival, Science and Industry Museum, FutureEverything and ELEKTRA/Arsenal, Montreal. At once a daring artwork and sensory performance, Rafael Lozano-Hemmer’s breathtaking immersive installation scours the atmosphere for voices, transforming them into something we can see and touch.

To accompany the artwork, we have curated and produced a programme of talks, walking tours and conversations in partnership with the Greater Manchester Combined Authority (GMCA). Future Sessions: Atmsopheric Memory will explore the themes and technologies of Lozano-Hemmer’s breathtaking new work.
