Anne Beswick is a native-born Mancunian with a varied background. After 25 years teaching biology she moved over to garden design and became an award-winning designer with RHS medals at the prestigious Tatton Park Show.
About ten years ago, a course in guiding in Manchester led to another change of direction and the exploration of her city’s history and current development.
Anne has many interests, some linked to her past work in science and the living environment and now, coming from her ongoing involvement in the city, its backstory and its exciting regeneration. There are many voices in Manchester past and present, we just need someone to help us listen.
