Profile: Jada Giwa

Graphic Design, Photographer and Artist

Jada Giwa is a multidisciplinary creative and recent Manchester School of Art graduate that cares about the unique vision of my work and the message behind it. She has a passion for fashion but most importantly a passion for positive change in the creative industry.

Jada is the founder of FlipSide (featured in Manchester’s finest), a virtual degree show that aims to celebrate the students of MSoA, whilst discovering ways to tackle the issue of diversity in the creative industry; particularly in design. She spent several months working with her creative team in the midst of the pandemic to conjure up a range of digital material such as podcasts, online workshops, a magazine and an exciting social media presence. She recently hosted FlipSide‘s first and live diversity panel on the night of the show with incredible guests; Pali Palavathanan from Templo, Katie Jones from Fresh Magazine and Jasmin Uttayota recent MSoA design graduate. her other recent accomplishments involve photographing for Season Zine’s latest issue on empowering women in football and creative directing shoots for 1xBlue. She is currently based in London and Manchester working as a freelancer in Graphic design and photography.
