Innovate Manchester

Innovate Manchester was an ambitious programme that brought together business, academia and creative thinkers to collaborate on ideas for a more sustainable future

FutureEverything has a long history of collaborating with different sectors and developing creative approaches to understand complex issues. Working with multidisciplinary teams, using art and design thinking tools, and extending our network of businesses, public sector partners and academic connections, we are pleased to have curated Innovate Manchester with MIDAS, Manchester’s inward investment agency, and the GC Business Growth Hub

Launched in June 2020, Innovate Manchester brought together organisations from all sectors, backgrounds and sizes to develop innovative propositions to key challenges. Responding to emerging global trends ranging from sustainability and industry 4.0, to data ethics and human-centric design, our core objective was to inspire cross-sector collaborations between corporates, SMEs and academia with the aim of creating a more sustainable future for all.

The Innovation Labs
Split over two days to ensure a quality experience, the Labs were designed as an action-oriented workshop following a design-led innovation process to analyse a challenge and then shape solutions. During the Lab sessions large organisations were invited to present a challenge related to the theme, our team of experts matched the company with an SME that can provide a solution to their problem.
